The 2024 Dragon TV Countdown Party was held at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, located in Shanghai's World Expo Park. The Mercedes-Benz Arena, with a seating capacity of up to 18,000 seats in the main arena, is a large indoor arena with variable capacity, in which the auditorium can be gradually adjusted from 4,000 seats to 18,000 seats, and be partitioned into venues of the desired number of seats according to the specific form of activities and needs. In addition, the stage can be combined in three dimensions to match the size and performance and even in a 360-degree space, making it possible to hold not only mega-events and concerts, but also basketball games, ice shows and even ice hockey matches, with up to 250 performances per year.
