November 1, 2022, the award ceremony of the 33rd Flying Apsaras Award and the 27th Star Award was held at Shougang Park in Shijingshan. This year's award ceremony was sponsored by the National Radio and Television Administration, Beijing Municipal People's Government, China Television Arts Commission , the Publicity Department of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, Beijing Radio and Television Bureau, Shijingshan District People's Government, Shougang Group, Beijing Radio and Television Station, China TV Arts Exchange, and Beijing TV Station, Beijing Radio and Television Station, and China Television Arts Exchange Association.

Founded in 1980, Flying Apsaras Award is the earliest and oldest TV award in China. Star Award was founded in 1987, and is a government award sponsored by the National Radio and Television Administration. Flying Sky Award, Star Award and Ornamental Column Awards are the three government awards of the National Radio and Television Administration, which are the highest awards of Chinese television art.

The award ceremony not only included award recognition and sharing of creative experiences by the award recipients, but also interspersed with poetry recitation, songs and other cultural performances, accompanied by symphony and piano performance.
