The Xin Song Plan Zhejiang Young Xiqu Actors Competition is an important initiative of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Zhejiang Province to further promote the construction of the Zhejiang Army and to further implement the Xin Song Plan for the training of young artistic talents. Now, the competition has been held for three times.

Since its launch, the 2022 Xin Song Plan Zhejiang Young Xiqu Actors Competition has gained great attention in the industry, with 15 Xiqu genres including Yueju, Jingju, Kunqu, Wuju, Shaoju and Hangju. This year's competition was sponsored by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Zhejiang Province, the People's Government of Keqiao District, Shaoxing City, and co-organized by Zhejiang Xiao Baihua Yueju Theatre and the Cultural, Radio and Television Bureau of Keqiao District, Shaoxing City. After three contests, the competition ended on June 26 at the Blue Sky Grand Theatre in Keqiao District, Shaoxing.

In order to provide the perfect effect for the performers, the organizers carefully arranged the stage design, lighting and sound in all aspects. The audio system was selected from the internationally renowned audio systems L-Acoustics & DiGiCo, which not only could restore the emotions expressed in the stage performance without any difference, but also gave more empathy and infectious power to the art work, making the art of Xiqu more charming.
