Last year, the original musical "Sound of the Silk Road" made its debut at the Shaanxi Grand Theatre, with five performances in three days to a packed house. A year later, as a participating play in the 8th Silk Road International Arts Festival, The upgrade version of Sound of the Silk Road returned to Xi'an Chanba Poly Theatre. According to Xu Dong, the director of the 2022 version of the play, they has not only been fully optimized and upgraded the plot, costumes, stage design and music, but also integrated acrobatics, martial arts, magic, etc.

“L-Acoustics has a high degree of music and vocal reproduction, which well meets the demand for sound clarity. The superb processing capability of DiGiCo and its stability also allowed the engineers to operate with ease.” Yuan Chuan, the sound design, said after the show last year. In this year's tour, the team still chose to use L-Acoustics and DiGiCo as audio system.
