Infinity and Beyond is a Hong Kong music-themed music program jointly presented by Mango TV, Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) and Hunan TV on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's reunion with its motherland.

Founded in 1967, TVB is the first television station in Hong Kong to be granted a free-to-air television license and the world's number one Chinese-language commercial television station. With years of experience and efforts, TVB has a production line that can produce over 650 hours of drama series and over 17,000 hours of news, variety, travel and infotainment programs annually. Among them, TV dramas are the branded products produced by TVB and have been influencing Hong Kong and the global Chinese community, becoming an important part of Hong Kong's popular culture.

Cantonese is one of the heritages of Chinese civilization, and Hong Kong music is a footnote of the profundity of Chinese culture. In 1960s, Hong Kong music was just budding, its cultural tracing from Lingnan culture, with Cantonese opera genes; In the 70s, Hong Kong music began to take off, the popular language and westernized arrangements expressed the life and people at that time, it became a kind of social popular music languag; By the time to the 80s, many of Hong Kong music's works were adapted from foreign music, and when converted into the local language, it became the leading trend again; In the 90s, Hong Kong music sweeping Asia have become the hub of cultural products, whether movies or record releases, Hong Kong's movies and songs basically monopolized the whole Chinese world at that time.

The show has been produced less competitive, and canceled the knock-out system. It is more like a big party where the artists can pleasantly and easily perform their favorite Hong Kong music in an ease environment, allowing the audience to just immerse themselves in the music. "Now people are less interested in music that are too strong, but prefer to those soft and comfortable kind, and now music is more like a companion." Gu Su said , the music director for the show.

For such a pure musical enjoyment, the sound quality needs to reach a very high standard that can reproduce the unique voice of each singer without distinction, and L-Acoustics is the ideal solution for creating a sound system.

The main system comprised of 8 K1 and 4 K2, evenly hanging on both sides of the stage; 8 SB28 subwoofers were using for expanding the low frequency and providing dynamic energy. Total 6 KARA were deployed to supply front fills.

Infinity and Beyond is one of the few programs using a large number of Syva system for sound reinforcement. There were 10 sets of Syva(Syva + Syva Low) used on site. Thanks to its plug-and-use feature, the system can provide a flexible and quick installation on site. The streamlined design is beautiful and elegant, effectively avoiding the impact on the visual experience.

A DiGiCo Quantum 5 console was used as the PA; Equipped with 52 faders and 3x15’’ LCD high-resolution screen, the dual-engine DiGiCo Quantum 7 mixing console was deployed as monitor console, which can handle 256 channels. Powerful and delicate.

Based on the cultural roots, Infinity and Beyond traces the history of Hong Kong music development in the new era environment and explores the Chinese culture with the same root and origin. Through the reinterpretation of Hong Kong music by singers from the Mainland and Hong Kong, the young generation can truly understand the spiritual core of Hong Kong music and inherit the cultural memory and national emotion behind it.
