Shanghai International Film Festival is the first international A-list film festival in China recognized by the International Film Producers Association and one of the 15 international A-list film festivals in the world. On June 11, 2020, against the backdrop of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the opening ceremony of the 24th Shanghai International Film Festival officially kicked off at the Shanghai Grand Theatre. During this year's festival, a total of 1,423 screenings were held in 40 cinemas in Shanghai, with more than 320,000 audoence, making it the world's international A-list film festival with the largest number of participants as scheduled. This not only showed the world the great achievements of China's epidemic prevention, but also well conveyed the firm power of China's strong film recovery to lead the world
