l New Year’s Opera Gala 2020
The 2021 New Year Opera Gala was held by the Publicity Department and Cultural and Tourism Dapartment of the CPC Central Committee, and broadcasted on CCTV-1 of China Central Radio and Television on January 1, 2021.
The gala featured 16 outstanding traditional Chinese operas, among which eight operas, including Guangdong Han Opera, Han Opera Western Fujian, Shaanxi Chinese Opera, Hunan Han Opera, Chao Opera, Shandong Liuqin Opera, Beijing Qu Opera, Caidiao Opera and puppet show in palm, made their debut.
In Chinese opera, it focuses more on the middle and high frequencies than low frequencies. Both the instruments and the opera singing would be more penetrating compared to the mainstream Western art forms.

Bilibili, a cultural community and video platform for the younger generation in China, was founded on June 26, 2009. In its early days, Bilibili was a video site for the creation and sharing of ACG (animation, comics, game) content. After more than a decade of development, it has built an ecosystem around users, creators and content to produce continuous quality content.
In recent years, Bilibili has become increasingly rich in content and has more users. This year, for the first time, it also hosted a countdown party, which is a very important attempt in the its development.
Bilibili chose recording production and focused on the content creation. To present the best for the audience, the best production team was invited for stage design, video, lighting and sound.
