Tibet Grand Theatre

The Tibet Culture, Radio and Television Art Center is located in Lhasa city, closely connected with the spiritual core spaces such as the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Norbulnka. The center includes three major functional buildings of Tibet Comprehensive Art Center (Grand Theater, Concert Hall), Tibet Radio and Television Center and Lhasa Convergence Media Center, with a total construction area of 136,200 square meters and a total planning investment of 1.692 billion yuan. As Tibet is located on the Tibetan Plateau, with an average altitude of more than 4,000 meters, the RAC team needed to overcome plateau reaction during the tunning. To make the result more scientific and systematic, they used P1 & M1 suits for accurate measurement and tuning, adjusting the sound field to the best. The Grand Theater as well as the Concert Hall will be opened to the public within this year and become a new landmark of contemporary culture and art in Tibet.
