Kaiyuan Grand Theatre is the first comprehensive and modernized grand theatre in the north of Xi'an City. It was put into operation in May 2023 and officially opened in June, and is scheduled to stage at least 150 performances throughout the year. With a total floor area of about 80,000 square meters, the Grand Theater has a large theater with more than 1,200 seats, a smaller theater with 500 seats, and a 6,000 square meters exhibition space. The Grand Theater features drama, but also offers a variety of performances such as dance, musical, children's theater, concerts, opera, etc., to satisfy the needs of different groups of people who want to watch the performances. L-Acoustics & DiGiCo was chosen for the audio system of the Grand Theater.
