L-Acoustivs Syva Creates a Surprising Sound for CMG Shanghai Station

The Yangtze River Delta Headquarters of China Media Group (CMG), Shanghai Station, is located in the International Media Port on the Xuhui Riverfront in Shanghai, with a total construction area of about 265,000 square meters, matching various types of 5A Grade A office buildings, cultural venues and commercial spaces, etc. In the future, as one of the new landmarks in Shanghai, it will be built into an international first-class world film and television base and a cultural and creative highland.

 

On September 26, 2019, the Shanghai station of CMG was opened. In 2020, it was awarded as one of the top 10 New Landmark Buildings in Shanghai of 2019. In the future, it will gather film and television, sports, technology, media and other industries, and carry out a variety of cultural activities.

 

The Shanghai station of CMG, is also the first regional headquarters and local headquarters of CMG in Shanghai, which was established by the framework agreement signed between CMG and Shanghai Municipal People's Government to deepen strategic cooperation. The two sides will carry out all-round and in-depth cooperation around major cultural projects, service to the Yangtze River Delta, copyright operation, sports industry, film and TV drama translation and production, etc.

 

The multi-purpose hall uses two groups of system, Syva+low and Syva Sub as the main, four groups of Syva+Low using as surround. There are two groups of Syva+Low were chosen as the monitor speakers, and this is the first time that Syva was used for installed monitoring in China. By adjusting the rigging height and vertical angle, Syva can deliver clearer and more consistent sound in the space.

 

Syva gave a lot of surprises to Shanghai Station. The streamlined design of Syva is just happen to be aesthetically pleasing to users at the station, not only to blend perfectly into the space, but also to bring excellent performance with a maximum SPL of 142dB, a wide coverage range of 140 degrees, a throwing distance of up to 35 meters, no matter on or off axis, syva always achieving the consistency of sound.
