Zhongshan City Culture and Arts Center is one of the key projects of the "Tenth Five-Year Plan" of the Zhongshan Municipal People's Government, and since its opening in 2005, the Zhongshan City Culture and Arts Center has been a cultural landmark, an art hall for the public, the best art training base and the preferred cultural activity venue for the masses.
The Zhongshan Cultural Arts Center covers an area of 68,599 square meters and consists of two major parts: the Performing Arts Building and the Training Building. Among them, the Performing Arts Building has a 1,312-seat grand theater, a 636-seat multifunctional theater, exhibition halls, and cultural plazas.
After more than ten years of operation and use, the acoustical conditions and some parameters in the theater of Zhongshan City Cultural Arts Center have not reached the requirements of the first class standard of the sound reinforcement system for cultural performances. And most of the equipment has been aging or damaged, and does not meet the functional use requirements. To ensure the Upgrade is necessary.
